All about Furever Friends
The man behind Furever Friends, Mr. Vikas Luthra, established this animal welfare organization with the purpose of rescuing animals in tricity and provide them with first aid.
Furever friends is the one of the largest and oldest NGO in North India and also one of India’s most active animal liberation organisation for 10 years, situated in Tricity, Chandigarh and also assists NGOs all across the country. Furever Friends is a non-profit organization registered under section 8 of companies act under corporate affairs. Our main objective is to issue medication, re-homing abandoned pets, rescuing handicapped and heavily injured street animals, taking immediate legal actions against animal cruelty. We also practice fostering, awareness programme, sterilization and vaccination drive for street animals by treating them with personal care.
Title of Furever Friends
The history behind the name of Furever Friends is titled by a dog named Happy who was in a critical situation and was all treated with care, provided him shelter and was the friendliest to several other animals like dogs and cats. The label behind Furever Friends was devoted to Happy as he had a friendly nature and well mannered, so we decided to keep the NGO as Happies Friends but the name was already taken, so we decided to go with Furever Friends and the logo was assembled to firm Happy and his friends. Furever Friends has rescued and rehomed thousands of animals on an average. On a daily basis we accept 10 rescue calls consisting of road accidents, poisoned or heavily assaulted, ill-treated and abandoned pets also, as well as some of paralyzed animals are also rescued depending on their health. Orphaned puppies are given proper attention with vaccination.

- Adoption and fostering:
All different kinds of puppies are available, pets left behind by owners, or owners travelled abroad, got married, financial issues and all. All the animals need foster homes to recover and live for the rest of their lives.
We also have our merch out on furever friends you can check them out, we have cosy clothing, different accessories and more. All the purchased funds will be allocated and forwarded for rescue of sick and abandoned animals.
Last year During the covid -19 pandemic. We were able to extend our help to underprivileged families, police officials on work with food, water, sanitizers and masks. Furever Friends cooperated with medical workers and front line workers in the best way possible in all ways.
